It’s quiet time at HSD

Hi folks! I don’t usually include much personal info about myself on here, but things have been very quiet as I rehab and recover from my second total hip replacement surgery.

The weeks leading up to surgery were super busy at the Post Office for the Christmas Season, and then January came with a fast-tracked surgery date that was moved up due to my failing condition.

On the mend now…

As I write this post, I’m on Day 13 and am due to get my staples out tomorrow.

Yay! Who doesn’t like getting de-stapled?

So, I’ve postponed our annual Week of Wings series that is usually in this space about this time of year.

Thank you for understanding and hanging in there with me. I hope to get back on my feet soon! Get it?
