Howler Monkey Sauce Panama Style Hot Sauce Review

Howler Monkey Sauce is the brainchild of Conan Herring and Tom Ellis, who both grew up in the Panama area of Central America. Aji Chombo is the name used in that area for hot sauce made with Scotch Bonnet peppers. Typically a mix of vinegar, Scotch Bonnet peppers, garlic and other spices, it’s a standard table sauce found in that region.

Panama Red Hot Sauce Review

Panama Red Hot Sauce was the Grand Champion winner at this year’s 2012 Scovie Awards. This mustard based hot sauce brings on a fiery kick quickly, but the heat subsides just as quickly. And like many other habanero hot sauces, it’s quite a bit hotter tasted straight up out of the bottle than it is on food.

Panama Red Gourmet Hot Sauce – that is a great name isn’t it? What child of the 60’s or 70’s can resist a sauce named after another substance we grew up with, made famous in song by New Riders of the Purple Sage?
