Vote for 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards on BBQ.About.Com

Derrick Riches from BBQ.About.Com recently launched his Barbecue & Grilling 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards where you can vote for your favorites in six categories: Charcoal Grill, Gas Grill, Backyard Smoker, Competition Smoker, and of special interest to us are the final two categories of Barbecue Sauce and Barbecue Rub.

After inviting his readers to submit their best of the best, Derrick has narrowed down the categories to the Top Five Nominees in each.
You can vote once each day. Voting concludes at midnight, March 8th, 2011 with the winners announced March 15th, 2011.

Each time you vote, you see the results so far. This piqued my interest in a few of the sauces and rubs that I was either not aware of or had never tried. So, I immediately ordered them so that I can keep up on what’s hot and popular in BBQ.

To make things easy, I’ve rounded up some convenient links you can use to buy some of the products. (Disclaimer: these are my affiliate links, your purchase via these links help support HotSauceDaily.com).
After you vote (daily if you can), come back here to order these sauces and rubs. Enjoy! ~brian

  1. I like the Burnt Fingers line. It’s pretty solid. The Blues Hog sauces while having good spice are, for me at least, a cavity in a bottle. HOLY MOLY sweet lol. They might be right up your alley though Brian. I think they are more of a good glaze than a good sauce.

    1. The only time I’ve had Blues Hog was at a comp, and the team that let me sample their winning sauce finally gave in and secretly told me that it was indeed Blues Hog as the base.

So I’ve not tried it “out of the bottle”.
