Actually, we focused on our newer products this year, and took two 1st Places with the Habby Pony (Mild Habanero Horseradish) for Best Horseradish product, and the Smokey Dust for Table Seasoning. Pretty cool, seeing as these 2 products had never taken a 1st place award until now. We were a bit disappointed that they took out the “traditional” wing sauce category this year, having taken it last year. With the multitudes of different wing sauces out there, I think they should have a few different categories.
Hey congrats on the awards for your newer products.
Why in the world would they take out “traditional” from the wing sauce category? After all, “traditional” is what started it all!
Absolutely. I thought it was kinda weird myself.
Thanks for the mention. Great site keep up the good work, looking forward to listening to this week’s podcast tonight.

Congrats to all. Does it really surprise anyone that the Scovies are missing categories? You would figure that Dave would want more categories to pad his retirement.
Ok, perhaps I’m going senile, but I just looked at the big list on the Fiery-Foods site, and we took 1st in Authentic Buffalo Wing Sauce. I swear to God, I don’t remember there being that category when we entered. Perhaps sleep isn’t as over-rated as I thought it was. I need a beer…….
Well, I checked with The Wife Unit, and we did enter the #2 in the generic “Wing Sauce” category, but didn’t think we’d do too well considering the multitude of all of the new-fangled wing sauces out there. I’m glad to see they made an “authentic” category. Two thumbs up!
I’m glad you cleared that up! 🙂 Bigger congrats to you!
Received word from Fiery-Foods – there was a mixup in the database it was showing entries from 2009 as well as 2010. Double check your wins. It has been fixed now

Thank you Jay! I’m glad all the winners have been announced… finally.
But I have issues with the way the list of winners is presented.
A drop-down box for each category? It looks really “old school” to me.
And it would take a viewer forever to see all the winners that way.
No promises yet, but I hope to aggregate all the winners and present them in a nice, one page, scrollable/searchable list.
If you share my opinion or not, let me know.
Ok, that makes a lot more sense. Man, what a mindscrew. Oh well, we still got two of them. LOL!
Congrats. I look forward to seeing new sauces that I can sell on my site.
