Sporting a big fresh taste of “hand pressed” tomatoes, Tabañero Spicy Bloody Mary Mix is a delicous, light bodied mix. It is 100% all natural, gluten free and made with only fresh ingredients.
Straight up, it’s a tasty refreshing tomato juice, with that familiar kick of Tabañero Hot Sauce (see our review) flavor.
There are tons of garlic and bits of peppers and onions floating in the bottle, and with each sip, I get a few of these crunchy tasty morsels.
Ingredients: tomato juice (tomatoes, salt), water, lime juice (water, lime juice from concentrate, lime oil), molasses, carrots, oxford falls gluten free worchestershire sauce (cider vinegar, water, molasses, tamari (water, soybeans, salt, organic alcohol), lemon juice (water, lemon juice concentrate, lemon oil), sea salt, mustard, onion, pepper, garlic, spices, citric acid, xanthan gum), onion, Tabañero Hot Sauce (select habanero and tabasco Mexican peppers, carrots, onion, key lime juice, agave, garlic, salt, grapefruit seed extract), garlic, salt, pepper, citric acid, habanero peppers, cayenne peppers and xanthan gum.
For the bloody mary drink I made, I just used their recipe – 4 ounces of Tabañero Spicy Bloody Mary mix with 1 ounce of vodka. Ok,
1½ ounces… 2 ounces of vodka. I like a strong drink. The spicy heat was not overpowering – allowing me to enjoy the fresh taste of this mix.
Ultimately, I did rim the glass with some Old Bay seasoning – yea, that’s how we roll in Maryland, and added a few dashes of fresh lime juice. I like the bright citrus component in my Bloody Mary. I don’t think it covered up the fresh taste of the Tabañero Spicy Bloody Mary Mix at all.
Heat Level: – Just spicy enough to be a classic Bloody Mary Mix, but not too spicy to limit you to just one.
Overall Rating: – With high quality all natural ingredients, this mix earns a spot on our Bloody Mary Mix shelf. I would highly recommend this mix to anyone. One of the lightest and freshest tasting mixes I’ve ever had.
